Melina Bowdwin is a Policy Manager at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and serves as the policy co-lead for the Health Equity Accreditation and Health Equity Accreditation Plus products. In this capacity, Ms. Bowdwin is the policy and content expert for NCQA’s health equity products and is responsible for maintaining and updating these products during NCQA’s product release cycles. Ms. Bowdwin is also responsible for providing policy clarification support on content-related issues for internal and external customers.

Prior to joining NCQA, Ms. Bowdwin was Assistant Director at Island Peer Review Organization (IPRO), where she conducted external quality review activities for Medicaid managed care programs across the country. She was also a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Ms. Bowdwin holds a Master of Public Health degree from University at Buffalo (SUNY), with an emphasis on Community Health and Health Behavior.
