Dr. Bihu Sandhir is a Physician Executive with more than 25 years of healthcare experience. She graduated from University of Cincinnati, Ohio. She has held multiple leadership roles in her career such as: Medical Director/ CMO of West End Health Center, Cincinnati Ohio; Medical Director of Quality at Kettering Health, Dayton Ohio; and Executive Medical Director of Primary Care, Premier Physician Network, Dayton Ohio. She is currently the Chief Quality Officer at California’s largest leading FQHC System AltaMed Health Services. She brings a proven track record in leading medical teams in care transformation towards Value Based Care and Population health management. She has expertise in Quality, Patient Safety, Care Management and Care Model Redesign, Quality Innovation, and Electronic Health Record optimization. She has exceled at leveraging Health Plan partnerships to optimize quality in multiple organizations. Dr. Sandhir has earned multiple honors and frequently serves as a distinguished speaker. She is a member of state and national committees such as; the State of California DMHC Quality and Health Equity Committee, Americans Physicians Group Clinical Quality Forum and IHA-AMP technical Measurement committee. What sets her apart is her ability to transform vision into reality and bridge the gap between practicing providers and executive leadership in medical groups. She has successfully built external partnerships and advanced efficient internal team-based care, all while providing outstanding care for complex diabetes patients in a population health model.
