Activity Overview

The Health Innovation Summit is a three day, in-person conference at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN, taking place from October 31– November 2, 2024. This event aims to connect and inspire quality-minded stakeholders and accelerate delivery of quality health care. The Summit will focus on all aspects of quality, including digital solutions, health equity, value-based care and more. This intersection of payers, providers and policymakers will engage organizations looking to explore data solutions and next-generation technologies that can improve all aspects of health care quality. 

This event will include over 50 sessions and 100+ speakers in a variety of learning formats and experiences. A question-and-answer session with the faculty will follow each presentation.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity is being planned and implemented by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. The National Committee for Quality Assurance is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide Interprofessional Continuing Education for the healthcare team.  

While this event does not offer CE for physicians or nurses, attendance at this event does offer 15 continuing education unit points to PCMH Certified Content Experts. Please note – You must attend the entire event and submit a completed evaluation form to be eligible for the total number of points. PCMH CCEs who complete the evaluation online will automatically have credit posted in My CEC withing three weeks of the live event.  

Intended Learners 

This conference is designed for professionals devoted to health care quality improvement. The Health Innovation Summit unites senior leaders and decision makers from America's largest health plans, health systems, providers, policymakers, pharma, biotech, life sciences, and health IT suppliers. 

Learning Objectives 

Learning objectives for each keynote presentation, plenary session and concurrent breakout session will be developed and made available along with session materials through the event app.  

After attending the 2024 Health Innovation Summit conference, participants will be able to: 

  • Summarize best practice examples of care delivery and quality improvement for each conference track: Digital Quality, Equity, Behavior Health, Value-Based Care. 
  • Identify how the intersection of payers, providers and policymakers can engage organizations in driving data solutions and next-generation technologies that can improve all aspects of health care quality. 
  • Outline lessons learned, share ideas and discuss innovative technology at the forefront of health care that can support their organization’s quality improvement goals. 
  • Recognize a quality improvement plan, based on research and resources identified at the Summit, that can impact patient and population health outcomes within their organization.
