Emily Hubbard (she/her) has been with NCQA for over six years and currently serves as a Senior Research Associate in the Chronic Conditions Center within the Quality Measurement and Research Group. Emily leads the development and maintenance of digital quality measures, with a focus on enhancing diabetes care, as well as efforts in improving kidney and prenatal care. Her leadership spans across diverse care levels, including HEDIS and NCQA's Diabetes Recognition Program.
During her tenure at NCQA, Emily has led various quality initiatives, such as organizing a Digital Quality Summit session on clinical decision support, leading a roundtable and whitepaper on Quality of Care in Type 2 Diabetes and Heart Failure, and leading the development of a Kidney Health Toolkit.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science in Public and Nonprofit Administration with a concentration in Community Health from Grand Valley State University. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at George Washington University, Emily combines academic rigor with practical experience to drive advancements in healthcare quality.
