Jim Laing joined the NCQA team in January 2024, based in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a Director of Product Management and currently oversees products in NCQA's delivery-focused portfolio. Jim has held roles in both innovation and design, in industries including financial services, academic publishing, and technology. His previous healthcare experience includes 10 years at UPMC Enterprises. There he was a member of the founding teams of several startups and incubated new products, ranging from clinical (post-acute telemedicine, obstructive sleep apnea) to administrative (risk adjustment, population health management) to technical (natural language processing, interoperability). Jim received a BS from Calvin University and an MSI from the University of Michigan
