Michael Westover serves as the Vice President of Data Partnerships and Informatics for Providence, a healthcare system comprised of 120,000 caregivers serving in over 50 hospitals and 1,000 clinics. With over 18 years of healthcare experience, Michael is an expert in the business and technology of data exchange and Value Based Care.

Michael created and manages Providence’s Population Health data strategy and the Data as a Service (DaaS) technology infrastructure used to support over 150 risk arrangements and government programs with over $150 million in annual earnings. Michael possesses the education and experience to speak and write authoritatively on healthcare interoperability, payer-provider partnerships, Value Based Care operations, and healthcare finance.

Michael has also worked for a data integration startup that was acquired by Optum and Milliman as a Healthcare Consultant. He graduated with honors from Brigham Young University and holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in healthcare management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
