Paul Espinas, MD is the Medical Director for Social Determinants of Health for The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) of Northern California, where he oversees social health strategy. Previously, he served as the Medical Director for the Primary School/Kaiser Permanente (KP) East Bay site and Medical Director for Health Equity at the KP Greater Southern Alameda Area.
He has practiced Primary Care Pediatrics at the KP Medical Center in Hayward, CA for 19 years. He graduated from Tufts School of Medicine in Boston, MA and completed training at KP Oakland Medical Center in Oakland, California.
