Billie Moore, a native West Virginian joined UniCare Health Plan in 2007 and has held several roles in the over 15 years with the health plan providing a good understanding of all functional areas. She currently serves as the Population Health Program Director since March 2021 where she started the department from the ground up. From July 2019 to March 2021, she continued her work in public health as the Director of the West Virginia Division of Immunization Services of the Bureau for Public Health and was actively involved in the state’s COVID-19 response efforts. Moore has more than 20 years in the Managed Care industry. She previously worked at Coventry Health Care (now Aetna Better Health) in Quality and Sales & Marketing positions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership, Development and Human Resources. She has maintained a WV State Health Insurance license since 2003.
