Joshua Ogburn is a Senior Advisor of Health Impact at Nemours Children’s Health. Joshua supports the development of innovative strategies that integrate medical and social care to address health-related social needs, improve health outcomes, reduce health disparities, and manage health costs. Joshua collaborates with payers and government partners to develop innovative funding mechanisms that move beyond the constraints of traditional fee-for-service to advance the long-term health and well-being of children and families. Joshua also seeks to identify the multisector impacts of programs and amplify the efforts of Nemours to create the healthiest generations of children. Joshua previously served as Manager of Policy on the federal public policy team at Nemours, Project Director for the RVA Childhood Asthma Collaborative, founding Director of the University of Virginia Pay for Success Lab, and a staffer for U.S. Senator Mark R. Warner. Joshua holds a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia.
