Cameron Adams (Cam) is the lead of the Arizona Medicaid (AHCCCS) Health Equity Data Subcommittee and Administrator of the Targeted Investments (TI) provider incentive programs- subsequent 1115 Waiver programs that provide guidance and $600M for outpatient PCP and BH providers to reduce fragmentation at point of care, improve care coordination to address medical, behavioral, and health-related social needs throughout the state; and address health disparities identified at various sectors of the Arizona healthcare system.

To optimize impact, feasibility, and sustainability, the TI team and Arizona State University partners coordinate with Health Plans (MCOs), Accountable Care Organizations, Clinically Integrated Networks, policymakers, and nearly 500 clinics, 150 organizations, to build or improve processes that foster culturally and linguistically appropriate services, reference reliable data, systematically identify disparities, and collaborate to address them.

Cam leverages more than a decade of experience in various AHCCCS positions (e.g.,long term care eligibility, policy, training, and budget), tailored training programs (ASU Health Policy Academy, AHCCCS Leadership Academy) and Masters in Public Policy to emphasize collaboration and data-driven approaches to promote comprehensive, quality health care to those in need.
