Lauriane Bellot-Hanson (she, her) serves as the Director of Health Equity and Community Partnerships at Equality Health, an Arizona-based, multistate, value-based care delivery organization. In this role, she leads the company’s blueprint to identify and eliminate health disparities among the populations it serves.
Lauriane works at the intersection of health and social care. Her career has been focused on meaningfully addressing social drivers of health through sustainable and authentic community partnerships in order to improve health outcomes of historically disinvested communities. Lauriane carefully grounds her efforts in equitable, culturally responsive, and community-centered approaches.
To ensure she anchors her work in the needs of the communities she serves, Lauriane is actively involved in a variety of health and community initiatives. She serves as Co-Chair of the Health Improvement Partnership of Maricopa (HIPMC) steering committee, Vice President of the Arizona Public Health Association (AzPHA) and Chair of Maricopa County Human Services Commission. At the national level, Lauriane belongs to the Advisor Circle of Vot-ER, a healthcare-based, nonpartisan voter registration effort that seeks to reach populations often overlooked by traditional political campaign and encourage them to participate in the democratic process. Most recently, Lauriane joined the AAMC Center for Health Justice -Economic Policy Health Justice Research Agenda workgroup (a CHARGE initiative) which explores fiscal, monetary and trade policies, as well as regulatory actions that influence the economy’s growth and impact on health.
Lauriane holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration and International Politics from the Université Grenoble Alpes-UGA (France), a master’s degree in Administration-Health Sciences from Northern Arizona University and a mini-MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Arizona.
