Leitha Harris is the Population Health Branch Manager in Kentucky’s Department for Medicaid Services (DMS). Leitha leads the DMS grant team on the Center for Health Care Strategies’ CGM Access Accelerator. The initiative, funded by The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, support states in designing and implementing strategies to increase the number of Medicaid beneficiaries who can obtain and use a CGM to improve their health and well-being. As DMS CGM project lead, Leitha oversees CGM coverage policy implementation, reviews, and monitors CGM utilization, and support interagency collaboration to improve outcomes for Medicaid members living with Diabetes.
