With over 20 years of experience as a primary care physician and a Harvard Medical School instructor, she combines deep medical expertise with sharp technical, regulatory, and business acumen to revolutionize healthcare delivery.

She’s driven by a mission to harness technology, data, and design to deliver personalized, equitable, and excellent-quality care to every patient. Her leadership has been pivotal in securing and executing a groundbreaking value-based contract that redefined industry benchmarks for quality and cost-efficiency.

Before joining Firefly in 2018, Dr. Basu served as the Director of Population Management at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she honed her skills in delivering patient-centered care and creating a platform to drive care gap closure across the network. She holds a medical degree and a master’s in public health from Tufts University and a BSE in biomedical engineering from Tulane University.
