Laurel Bailey Ghose is the Director of Connected Care at VA Boston Healthcare System, bringing 30 years of nursing expertise, including 5 years specializing in virtual health. Under her leadership, Connected Care harnesses virtual care solutions to address healthcare access challenges, delivering innovative, efficient, and patient-centered outcomes.
Laurel has spearheaded transformative initiatives at VA Boston, including the deployment of virtual care during the pandemic, the Virtual Care Resource Center, and the creation of a standardized, team-based workflow for virtual care delivery. As a recognized subject matter expert, she has pioneered an innovative virtual approach that connects frontline providers in rural settings with specialists for real-time clinical consultations. Her dedication to advancing service delivery and improving health outcomes earned her VA’s National Connected Care Distinguished Leader Award.
Laurel holds a master’s in nursing leadership from Norwich University and is a board-certified Nurse Executive. At this conference, she is eager to share her extensive experience leading Virtual Care: Patient Access and Choice.
