Becca Lane is the Senior Health Policy Analyst on the Policy and Plan Management team at the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange. Becca’s portfolio includes administering affordability initiatives such as the State Reinsurance Program and Young Adult Subsidy; improving the quality of race and ethnicity data and other demographic data; and designing MHBE’s “Value Plans” to prioritize affordability, equity, and access to care through pre-deductible coverage of commonly used services and $0 cost sharing for diabetes management services. Becca also recently secured Federal approval to allow all qualified Maryland residents to enroll in private plans on-Exchange, pursuant to Maryland’s 2024 Access to Care Act. Before joining MHBE, Becca worked on a community health policy initiative in Oregon. Becca received her MPP from Duke University.
