Description

Value-based care prioritizes quality, provider performance and patient experience while emphasizing health equity. But attaining certain quality metrics in these areas can be challenging and is often impeded by avoidable issues such as inequity and limited access. The exponential growth of AI systems in health care offers a promising solution. Strategically deploying AI can address care gaps, improve outcomes, and align with the core principles of value-based care.

The session explores how the integration of AI systems offers a promising pathway to enhance performance on value-based contracts and contribute to the overarching goals of health care access, quality improvement, and the promotion of health equity.

AI systems designed to emulate clinician thinking and mitigate bias present a transformative opportunity in health care. Now that Medical AI systems have received FDA clearance to address quality metrics, these innovations address health equity gaps by providing care where patients are and filling critical expertise gaps within the health care system. Additionally, FDA-cleared AI applications, particularly those advancing cancer detection in mammography, are especially beneficial in areas lacking access to specialized professionals.

Learn How:
    •    AI systems can address health equity and improve access.
    •    To utilize AI to achieve and exceed quality metrics in value-based care.
    •    To implement AI solutions that bridge expertise gaps in health care delivery.
    •    To explore real-world evidence to support the effectiveness of AI.
