Dr. T. Y. Alvin Liu is on the faculty of Johns Hopkins University, and is a venture partner at PTX Capital. He led the AI-X Health working group and produced a strategic road map for AI-related health initiatives across JHU. He was inducted into the Johns Hopkins inHealth Precision Medicine Initiative, and founded the Wilmer Precision Ophthalmology Center of Excellence. Dr. Liu was named an “Emerging Vision Scientist” by the National Alliance for Eye and Vision Research in 2020, and was awarded a Career Development Award by Research to Prevent Blindness in 2021.
