Leah Lombardi, BS, MPH, works as a Health Equity Research Analyst at Independence Blue Cross, where she supports projects to reduce disparities and improve whole person health among members. She additionally supports data quality efforts for race and ethnicity data and social determinants of health data. She is passionate about making data more accessible, digestible, and useful for actionable efforts.

She previously worked as a data analyst at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she conducted data management and statistical analyses for projects related to motor vehicle crash injuries, child passenger safety, disparities in crash-related outcomes, and data integration.
She received her BS in biology from Boston College and MPH in Epidemiology from Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health.
