Activity Overview 

The Health Innovation Summit is a three day, in-person conference at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center in Chula Vista, CA, taking place from October 13 – 15, 2025. The event brings together the nation’s leading voices in care quality for ideas, collaboration and impact. As NCQA celebrates 35 years of progress, this year’s theme—Reflect. Connect. Inspire.—guides a shared journey through the past, present and future of health care quality. This event offers the opportunity to engage with a purpose-driven community and help shape the future of care quality. 

This event will include over 50 sessions and 100+ speakers in a variety of learning formats and experiences. A question-and-answer session with the faculty will follow each presentation.  

Continuing Education for PCMH Certified Content Experts 

In support of improving patient care, this activity is being planned and implemented by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. This three-day event will offer 11 elective continuing education unit points to PCMH Certified Content Experts (CCEs). Please note – You must attend the entire event and submit a completed evaluation form to be eligible for the total number of points. PCMH CCEs who complete the evaluation online will automatically have credit posted in My CEC within three weeks of the live event.  

Add-on Optional Continuing Education for PCMH Certified Experts 

PCMH CCEs who attend one of three Pre-Conference Workshops will be eligible to earn 3 additional elective credits for PCMH CCEs. Once the session evaluation is completed online credit will automatically post in My CEC within three weeks of the live event 

Intended Learners 

This conference is designed for professionals devoted to health care quality improvement. The Health Innovation Summit unites senior leaders and decision makers from America's largest health plans, health systems, providers, policymakers, pharma, biotech, life sciences, and health IT suppliers. 

Learning Objectives 

Learning objectives for each keynote presentation, plenary session and concurrent breakout session will be developed and made available along with session materials through the event app.  

After attending the 2025 Health Innovation Summit conference, participants will be able to: 

  • Summarize best practice examples of care delivery and quality improvement for each conference track: Making Quality
    Work for You, Integrated, Person-Centered Care, Population Health in Practice, Powering Quality With Digital Transformation, Innovation, AI and the
    Future of Quality and Aligning Accountability and Value-Based Care.
  • Identify how the intersection of payers, providers and policymakers can engage organizations in driving data solutions and next-generation technologies that can improve all aspects of health care quality. 
  • Outline lessons learned, share ideas and discuss innovative technology at the forefront of health care that can support their organization’s quality improvement goals. 
  • Recognize a quality improvement plan, based on research and resources identified at the Summit, that can impact patient and population health outcomes within their organization.
