As quality expectations evolve, so does the need for trusted data—not just for HEDIS health plan reporting, but to power year-round strategy, analytics and quality improvement. Yet today, trust in data often depends on manual, resource-intensive methods like audits and primary source verification (PSV). NCQA has heard loud and clear from you: we all need a better way... one that maintains confidence in data while reducing the burden of validation.
In this session, NCQA explores a new data quality approach designed to establish greater trust in data through more automated, scalable validation methods. Presenters will share early insights from prototype testing, including perspectives from an external auditor and a partner organization using the tool in practice.
The session will also highlight market signals shaping this work, how audit perspectives are evolving and what the future may hold for NCQA's audit, Data Aggregator Validation program and PSV. This will be an interactive session. Your participation and feedback will help shape the future direction of NCQA’s data quality strategy.
If you’re involved in data—from provider organizations and health plans to aggregators and exchanges—this session offers a forward-looking view of how we can address the full spectrum of quality demands through trusted, high-integrity data
