Terms of Participation

NCQA hosts/provides certain events and programs (“Program(s)”). Participation in Programs is subject to these Terms of Participation (“Agreement”). We encourage you to read this Agreement carefully. You may not register or join an NCQA program if you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement.

By registering for and/or joining the program(s), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement with NCQA, and to applicable terms and conditions, policies or disclaimers herein.

As part of the Program, you may have access to online event resources, including event content and virtual exhibitor booths. Online resources are hosted by Swapcard. You can access the Swapcard platform through a link provided by NCQA without registering an account. Whether access by link or through a registered account, your access and use of the Swapcard platform is your agreement to its Member Terms of Use and the terms described in herein.

Health and Safety

NCQA is committed to adhering to all federal and state laws, and closely monitors federal, state and local government guidelines for ongoing concerns related to COVID-19 and other public health concerns. The safety of our staff, speakers and guests is our top priority. More information on health and safety protocols will be provided closer to the event, as needed to address local public health requirements and prevailing public health guidelines.

Attendees should recognize and accept the inherent risk in attending events in person.

Program Materials/Copyright

Program materials are owned and copyrighted by NCQA. Distribution of materials or use of materials outside a personal, non-commercial purpose by attendees is strictly prohibited. NCQA does not sell or provide additional copies of Program materials.

Recording

The use of recording devices during a Program is prohibited.

Use of Name/Image and Audio/Visual Release

By participating in a Program, you agree that NCQA may use your image or likeness (including, but not limited to, motion picture, photograph, slide film, digital image, digital video recording and/or videotape), audio recording and name. You also grant NCQA authority to video and/or audio record and transcribe the Program for reproduction and use in future Programs. NCQA will own all rights and title, including copyright, in the finished recording and any publication of the Program and future materials.

Disclaimer

Programs are provided “as is.” NCQA makes no warranty to you, express or implied, with respect to information or materials delivered pursuant to this Agreement or to any program, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, any warranty that Programs will be free from infringement of patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets or other rights of third parties and any warranty as to the accuracy quality, reliability, suitability, completeness, truthfulness, usefulness or effectiveness of the Programs.

Indemnity

You shall indemnify and hold harmless NCQA and its directors, officers and employees from and against any and all liability, loss, cost, expense (including reasonable attorney fees), damage or claim (“Losses”) arising out of a third-party claim made or brought against NCQA relating to your participation in a Program or breach of this Agreement. You shall promptly notify NCQA of such claim.

Limitation of Liability

NCQA’s liability shall otherwise be limited to actual and direct damages, not to exceed $1,000. If you choose to attend an event in person, your registration constitutes full assumption of any risks associated with COVID-19 and other communicable conditions. NCQA and its personnel shall not be responsible or liable to you, your employer or any third party for any personal or bodily injury arising from or related to COVID-19 or other communicable condition, including, but not limited to, death.

Your liability to NCQA arising under this agreement, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, shall be limited to actual and direct damages. You shall have no liability for incidental, special, consequential or other indirect damages arising under or related to this agreement, whether or not you have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages; thus, the above limitation may not apply to you.

NCQA Program Cancellation

In the event that an NCQA Program is cancelled, NCQA is not responsible for airfare, hotel accommodations and/or other incurred costs.

Registration Cancellation

Registrants who cancel more than 45 business days before the Summit (August 11) are entitled to a refund of the registration fee paid, minus a processing fee of $250.00. Contact Customer Support through My NCQA, or call 888-275-7585 if you need assistance.

If you cancel after 45 business days, no refunds will be given, but you have the option to transfer the registration to someone else and/or to next year’s summit.

All payments must be made prior to the Program. If payments are not received by October 1 for NCQA’s 2025 Health Innovation Summit, the registration will be cancelled.

Onsite registration for the summit will open October 12. Only credit card payment will be accepted.
