Jill Shuemaker leads measurement efforts at the American Board of Family Medicine’s Center for Professionalism & Value in Health Care, where she serves as the enterprise subject matter expert in clinical quality measurement, quality measure interpretation and development, electronic data extraction, and clinical informatics. As a registered nurse and clinical informaticist, Ms. Shuemaker bridges clinical practice with technology solutions. Ms. Shuemaker has shaped national healthcare policy through her participation in various HIMSS, NQF, Battelle, AHIP, CMS, and AHRQ advisory committees, establishing her as a key voice in healthcare quality, measurement and information technology. Ms. Shuemaker is also a recipient of the prestigious HIMSS Foundation Covert Award.
