Stacey received her BSN and MSN in Nursing Education from the Medical University of South Carolina. Her clinical background is in Trauma and Orthopaedic nursing. She has served in various roles including Nurse Educator, Clinical Nurse Specialist for Orthopaedics & Neurosciences, and Stroke Program Coordinator before transitioning into Quality and Patient Safety, where she focused for eight years.

Stacey previously served as the Director of Quality and Patient Safety for Roper St. Francis Healthcare, overseeing clinical quality, patient safety, infection prevention, quality informatics, project management, ambulatory quality, and regulatory compliance. In this role, she led initiatives that improved clinical outcomes, enhanced patient experience, and supported organizational efforts to deliver high-value care.

Currently, Stacey is the Director of Value-Based Care Coordination in MUSC’s Population Health Department. She leads a multidisciplinary team of Nurse Care Coordinators, Social Workers, and Community Health Workers to implement strategies that improve care coordination, reduce healthcare disparities, and enhance patient outcomes. Drawing on over 19 years of experience in clinical care, education, quality, and patient safety, Stacey is deeply committed to advancing value in healthcare by aligning clinical excellence with cost-effective, patient-centered care.
