Stacey Seipel, MSN, RN
Stacey received her BSN and MSN in Nursing Education from the Medical University of South Carolina. Her clinical background is in Trauma and Orthopaedic nursing. Stacey worked as a Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialist for Orthopaedics & Neurosciences as well as a Stroke Program Coordinator prior to transitioning into Quality and Patient Safety, which was her focus for 8 years.  Stacey served as the Director of Quality and Patient Safety for Roper St. Francis Healthcare, where she oversaw clinical quality, patient safety, infection prevention, quality informatics, project management, ambulatory quality and regulatory compliance. Stacey currently serves as the Director of Value Based Care Coordination in MUSC’s Population Health Department. Working with a team of talented Nurse Care Coordinators, Social Workers and Community Health Workers, she utilizes her 18+ years of experience in clinical care, education, quality, and patient safety to support Population Health initiatives aimed at improving care coordination to promote health, decrease healthcare disparities, and improve outcomes.
