Dr. Bharat Sutariya is the Senior Vice President and Chief Health Officer for Oracle Health, dedicated to shaping the future of intelligent healthcare technology and a connected healthcare ecosystem. With over 25 years as a senior clinical executive, he brings extensive expertise in healthcare operations, technology leadership, product development, and a strategic understanding of the potential of AI.
In his current role, Dr. Sutariya drives strategic market and product alignment, cultivates clinical executive relationships, and leads customer engagement. His prior experience includes spearheading the development of extensive healthcare technology product portfolios and leading large-scale implementations. Before joining Oracle Health, he was a leader in Deloitte’s Integrated Health practice, where he advanced clients’ clinical and operational transformations through technology. Previously, as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Cerner Corporation (now Oracle Health), he played a pivotal role in developing Cerner’s core clinical EHR capabilities, population health platform, and data-driven performance improvement practice.
Dr. Sutariya is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and has practiced in Michigan and Kansas. He started his career at Detroit Medical Center (DMC), leading healthcare information technology implementation and clinical transformation across the integrated delivery network. He was clinical assistant professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Sutariya earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from the same institution. His training in Emergency Medicine took place at the residency program of Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan
