After obtaining my education and training in Pennsylvania, I moved to Utah for a different experience (and better skiing). I have been employed with Intermountain Health Care and SelectHealth since that time. Initially practicing Internal Medicine for 22 years, I now hold a position as a Senior Medical director at Select Health while practicing part time in the Urgent care centers.

As Senior Medical director, I have responsibilities that include utilization management, prior authorization, medical management, Medicaid, ACA and the quality programs including the patient centered medical home, NCQA and CMS Stars. This has allowed many opportunities to identify and improve the health of our community and our members through continued expansion of quality-based programs for all lines of business. This has also given chance to explore alternative processes for medical management with a more comprehensive perspective.

When not working, I enjoy skiing, biking, hiking with my husband and spending time with my 2 grown children, 1 dog and 2 grand-dogs.
