Kim Walters is the Assistant Director, Accreditation Operations National Committee for Quality Assurance. In this position, Ms. Walters oversees Survey scheduling, Eligibility, scheduling, structural issues related to mergers and acquisitions as well as the Health Plan Ratings oversight from the Accreditation Operations perspective. She has responsibility for the development and continued improvement of the online application for accreditation, report card and the NCQA Customer Relationship Management systems.

Prior to her time at NCQA, Ms. Walters held an array of operational leadership positions at CareCentrix, a UM Accredited organization. During her time there she oversaw the EDI operational unit as well as multiple operational process improvement initiatives. In addition to CareCentrix, Kim also held leadership roles at WellCare Health Plans prior to its acquisition by Centene.

Ms. Walters earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in political science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in Indiana, PA.
