Nate Lucena serves as President and Managing Director at Rex Wallace Consulting, focusing on data-driven, equity-centered solutions that improve outcomes and reduce disparities in payer and provider Quality programs. With master’s degrees in Experimental Psychology (College of William & Mary) and Cognitive Neuroscience/Aging (Washington University in St. Louis), he spent over a decade in academic research exploring the neural bases of schizophrenia, brain aging, Alzheimer’s disease, and human cognition—work published in the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology and Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience.

Before joining RWC, Nate held executive analytics and strategy roles at Centene Corporation, where he built and led the enterprise analytics department, managed a national vendor portfolio, and directed quality performance improvement strategy across Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace lines serving 1 in 15 Americans.
