Liz has served with the County for over 20 years in several roles and her experience and expertise have been monumental to County services. In her most recent role, she filled the Program Coordinator position for the County of San Diego's Behavioral Health Services Population Health Network Quality and Planning Team responsible for the quality improvement and system enhancement of mental health and substance use services, specializing in equity and cultural responsiveness.

She began her career in 2004 on the Adult/Older Adult Team, transitioned to the Mental Health Services Act Team as the Workforce Education and Training Coordinator, and has spent her entire County career dedicated to Behavioral Health Services with the past decade in quality improvement. Prior to her employment with the County, she worked with adults with developmental disabilities and was Director for a Welfare to Work Vocational Training Program.

Liz holds a Doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Behavioral Health from Grand Canyon University and Master's in Social Work and Public Health form San Diego State University.

Liz's hobbies include traveling to cheer on her two children at Volleyball and Rowing Regattas, while spoiling her 3 doodles Whiskey, Bean, and Rye. She is a volunteer of the community and serves on multiple Board of Director Committees for non-profit organizations.
