Charlie Harp is the founder and CEO of Clinical Architecture, an industry leading healthcare data quality solutions provider. Charlie has over 30 years of experience as a healthcare software engineer and systems architect focused on creating tools to better utilize and understand data. Through this work he saw a need within the healthcare industry for reliable, accurate and interoperable patient data to support clinical decision-making, research and operational initiatives. Charlie led his team at Clinical Architecture to design and develop the first deterministic, configurable and algorithm-based engine for automating semantic interoperability to answer this need.
A recognized industry leader, Charlie regularly speaks on topics such as interoperability, data quality, and emerging trends in healthcare data management at events including AMIA, ASTP/ONC, HIMSS, and ViVE. He is the host of the Informonster podcast where he shares his insights and brings together guests to discuss a range of healthcare IT topics.
