Laura Buvel is the Manager of Quality Improvement at Delaware First Health with more than a decade of healthcare experience in accreditation and regulatory compliance. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University. Laura is a certified Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL).

In addition to her clinical nursing background, Laura has extensive experience supporting organizational readiness for NCQA accreditation programs, including Health Plan Accreditation, LTSS Distinction, Health Outcomes, and Population Health. Her work spans delegation oversight, regulatory compliance, and external audit preparation across Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace lines of business. She is known for maintaining continuous compliance while translating complex standards into practical, sustainable operational processes.
