Janele Riggs, MSW, is the Director of Health Equity at Home State Health, where she leads strategies to address health disparities, advance Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS), and integrate social determinants of health into plan operations. In this role, she serves as a subject matter expert on health equity strategy and NCQA Health Outcomes Accreditation, partnering with regulators, providers, and the community to improve outcomes and reduce disparities.

With over a decade of experience across managed care, compliance, quality improvement, and child and family services, Mrs. Riggs brings a systems-level approach to advancing equitable care. She holds a Master of Social Work in Policy, Planning, and Administration from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a post‑master’s certificate in Program Evaluation from Washington University in St. Louis. Mrs. Riggs currently serves on multiple community and academic advisory boards, reflecting her ongoing commitment to equity-driven leadership and accountability.
