Ryan Cork serves as Vice Chancellor for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Northwest Regional Campus, where he leads clinical, educational, and research operations across the region. In this role, he oversees strategic growth initiatives, academic programs, and partnerships that advance healthcare access and public health outcomes for communities throughout Northwest Arkansas.
With more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience, Cork has held executive roles across academic medicine, regional health systems, and global healthcare organizations. Prior to joining UAMS, he served as Executive Director of Healthcare Transformation for the Northwest Arkansas Council, where he led multi-sector partnerships to expand specialty care, grow the healthcare workforce, and strengthen regional health infrastructure for more than one million residents.
Earlier in his career, Cork held senior leadership positions with Cleveland Clinic in both the United States and the Middle East, directing international operations, clinical strategy, and large-scale healthcare development projects. His work has included overseeing complex clinical operations, physician recruitment, and facility expansions, as well as advancing innovative care models and global accreditation initiatives.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy Medical Services Corps, Cork brings a mission-driven approach to leadership and a strong commitment to community partnership and public health advancement. He holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and continues to pursue advanced legal studies with a healthcare concentration.
