Kelvin J. Holloway is Deputy Executive Director/Senior Medical Officer, Medical Assistant Plans Georgia Department of Community Health.

Dr. Holloway is a native Atlantan and completed his undergraduate work at Georgia Institute of Technology and received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C.  He is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and Allergist. He received his M.B.A. degree from Kennesaw State University.

Dr. Holloway has served in the past as a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at Morehouse School of Medicine and held several medical leadership roles including Medical Director Hughes Spaulding Children’s Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia, Deputy Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs/Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Quality Officer Grady Health System, Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Holloway has served as a member of several boards, including American Lung Association, The National Center for Healthy Housing, Howard University Medical Alumni Association and Atlanta Children’s Shelter. He is the recipient of several awards and honors, including recognition as one of America’s Leading Physicians by Black Enterprise Magazine, featured in Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Who’s Who in Atlanta Health Care, National Medical Association’s Floyd J. Malveaux, MD award for his service and accomplishments in the field of Allergy, induction in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and received the Project Catalyst Service Award from the City of Atlanta.
