Stephen W. Perez, M.D. is an Emergency Medicine physician with more than two decades of clinical, consulting, and leadership experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University Allegheny Campus in Pittsburgh. Dr. Perez has served as an attending physician in Cincinnati and has contributed to medical committees focused on trauma operations, pharmacy and therapeutics, and physician effectiveness and performance improvement. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Medical Director at MD Live by Evernorth, where he oversees the departments of Quality and Safety. In this role, his endeavors focus on physician performance, the delivery of evidence-based medicine, patient advocacy and the role of AI as an adjuvant to improving the overall telehealth experience. He has also served community organizations including the Karen Wellington Foundation for Living with Breast Cancer and the St Ursula Villa school as a Board member.
