Dr. Jordan Karlitz is a Senior Screening Medical Officer at Exact Sciences (now Abbott) and a board-certified gastroenterologist specializing in colorectal cancer (CRC) screening, early-onset GI cancers, and hereditary cancer syndromes. Prior to joining Exact Sciences, he served as Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Denver Health and Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Karlitz previously founded Louisiana’s first hereditary GI cancer and genetics program at Tulane University. He is a nationally recognized researcher, with publications in leading journals including Annals of Internal Medicine, Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology, and Gastroenterology, and has held leadership roles with the American College of Gastroenterology and the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable.
