Nikki Tennermann, LICSW, MBA, is a health and human services leader with a background at the intersection of complex care, early childhood development, and health care equity. Nikki is a Senior Project Director with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and was previously the Administrative Director for the Office of Health Equity and Inclusion at Boston Children’s Hospital. She has dedicated her career to underserved children and adolescents with special healthcare needs while supporting the healthcare workforce to understand and address social drivers of health. Nikki is passionate about improving access to affordable mental health care and maintains a small telehealth private practice in the greater Boston area that focuses on BIPOC and LGBTQ mental health empowerment.

Nikki obtained her BA in psychology and Spanish from Bard College, MSSW in Advanced Clinical Practice from Columbia University, and an Executive MBA from Suffolk University. She holds a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Boston University.
