Los Angeles market. A dedicated healthcare leader with over six years of executive
experience at Optum, Dr. Scheibe oversees clinical operations, healthcare quality, and
strategic growth initiatives for one of the region’s largest integrated care delivery
networks.
Dr. Scheibe brings a unique and compassionate perspective to health system leadership
as a practicing pediatrician. Bridging frontline clinical care with executive strategy, he
specializes in designing and implementing high-impact health initiatives. He
collaborates closely with strategic vendors to deliver innovative preventive care
programs designed to enhance overall healthcare benefits, optimize patient outcomes,
and close gaps in care. While deeply rooted in pediatrics, his strategic leadership at
Optum heavily focuses on driving clinical excellence and managing complex care for
senior members and other high-risk patient populations across the Los Angeles

Dr. Scheibe earned his medical degree from the St. Louis University School of
Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency training through Northwestern
University at Children's Memorial Hospital (now the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's
Hospital of Chicago). A strong advocate for value-based care, he is dedicated to
