Speaker Bio

A physician executive, I serve as Chief Medical Officer and Medical Group President for Concert Health, the nation’s leading Collaborative Care organization. In these roles I drive clinical strategy at the enterprise level, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care at the intersection of population health and healthcare technology, for an organization that has served more than 170,000 patients to date.

I maintain active faculty and clinical roles at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Across my medical career, I have held leadership roles spanning direct patient care, large-scale clinical delivery, payer strategy, and digital health innovation. As Chief Medical Director of Behavioral Health at Amwell, I led 10x service-line growth during COVID-19, providing clinical leadership through an IPO and multiple M&A events while leading a national network of more than 3,000 clinicians. Earlier roles include physician leadership in behavioral health at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (now Point32Health). I also serve as Co-Investigator on a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) grant, in partnership with the University of Washington AIMS Center, implementing the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) for complex psychiatric disorders.

Prior to medicine, I built an early career in technology entrepreneurship, consulting, and software development for global enterprise e-commerce clients. That foundation shapes how I approach systems, scale, and innovation. It extended into federally funded research, including SBIR projects with the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense on wearable neuroscience applications, including advanced concussion detection.

An MD from UCSF School of Medicine and an MS in Health and Medical Sciences with a neuroscience emphasis from UC Berkeley precede postgraduate training completed in a combined program at Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital, and Harvard Medical School. I am an Attending Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, an elected member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a recipient of the NAMI Exemplary Psychiatrist Award, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with dual board certification, with active medical licensure in 25 states.
