This session is an introduction to NCQA’s Health Equity Accreditation for organizations that are new to or interested in pursuing the Accreditation. Faculty will provide an overview of requirements from both program milestones, Health Equity Accreditation/Health Equity Accreditation Plus: identifying health disparities in data; data-driven actions to improve gaps in care; establishing cross-sector partnerships to better meet individuals’ needs. Learn key program expectations, tips for preparing survey evidence and how start the meaningful work represented by program standards. 

Attendees will:

•  Have a deeper understanding of NCQA’s Health Equity Accreditation standards as a framework for addressing gaps in care.
• Learn actionable steps to structure their organization’s health equity work for long-term sustainability.
• Be able to identify opportunities for collaboration between payers, care delivery organizations and community-based organizations to address gaps in care for their shared communities.
