Cameron Adams (Cam) leads the Arizona Medicaid (AHCCCS) Targeted Investments (TI) provider incentive programs- subsequent 1115 Waiver programs that provide guidance and $600M for nearly 150 outpatient PCP and BH organizations to improve care coordination for each individual’s medical, behavioral, and health-related social needs; and collaborate to improve measured health outcomes.
Cam leverages more than a decade of experience in various AHCCCS positions (eligibility, policy, training, and budget), tailored training programs (ASU Health Policy Academy, AHCCCS Leadership Academy), and Masters in Public Policy to emphasize collaboration and data-driven approaches to promote comprehensive, quality health care to those in need. He disseminates lessons learned through publications and presentations and is eager to lend this experience to inform provider integration, whole person care, and VBC policy; assist with NCQA Health Equity accreditation and addressing disparities; and better understand (and respect through data segmentation processes) patient and provider preferences in sharing Pt 2 data as an ASU SHARES project advisory board member.
