Bahar is devoted to helping teams identify, plan, and execute improvement projects throughout DHS to deliver successful results, spread changes across the entire system, and enhance multidisciplinary collaboration.

Through her various roles at DHS, she continues to train, educate, and deploy improvement tools, methods and processes for a wide range of projects across various departments. With her educational background in public health, Bahar has worked with various populations and communities across Los Angeles county to improve their health through awareness, education, policy, and research.

Before joining the Office of Specialty Care, Bahar was an integral member in implementing the Quality Academy Program and supporting the Quality Department at LA General hospital, she then joined the DHS Office of Organizational Development in leading improvement projects and trainings and as a quality advisor for the Whole Person Care program.

She is also a graduate from the Kaiser Improvement Advisor Program and joins the Office of Specialty Care to further improve, access, quality, & equity. She looks forward to building on current knowledge and developing & putting into practice creative solutions to both clinical needs and operational processes, based on information obtained through workforce engagement, assessment of patient needs, and review of available data.
