Carolyn Reconnu-Shoffner serves as Deputy Director – Clinical Services for Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA.) Carolyn has been with OHCA for 22 years, serving in a variety of roles in the clinical services space. Carolyn is currently responsible for clinical operational areas such as Care Coordination Services, Non-Emergency Medical Transportation and Social Services, Inpatient Behavioral Health and Applied Behavior Analysis Review, Medical Authorization and Pre-Payment Review, Long Term Services & Supports, and Dental services. Prior to her work in the Medicaid space which began in 1999, Carolyn worked 10 years for Crawford and Company as a case manager and branch manager, serving Worker’s Compensation and catastrophic commercial Group Health populations. Carolyn grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania, holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thiel College, Greenville PA, has been a registered nurse for 39 years and a certified case manager (CCM) since 1996.
