Speaker Bio

Dr. Natasha Parekh is Senior Vice President of Clinical Services at Marathon Health, where she brings a systems-level lens to primary care to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive, whole-person support. She leads clinical strategy and operations nationally, supporting care delivery across diverse communities to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes regardless of geography.

Dr. Parekh’s career spans frontline clinical care, population health research, value-based care innovation, and health system leadership. She earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and began her clinical training at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where caring for uninsured and underinsured patients exposed her to the systemic barriers that shape health outcomes. These early experiences ignited her commitment not only to treating individual patients, but to building better systems of care.

She completed residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center during the rollout of the Affordable Care Act, an experience that deepened her interest in healthcare reform, population health, and systems-based solutions for healthcare challenges. She went on to complete a fellowship in population health and value-based care and earned a Master’s degree in Health Services Research. Through a partnership with Pennsylvania’s Medicaid program, she conducted research focused on disparities, working directly with Medicaid leadership to translate evidence into policy and operational change.

Dr. Parekh has since served as Senior Advisor at UPMC Health Plan and Chief Medical Officer of Queen’s Clinically Integrated Provider Network in Honolulu, Hawaii. Across her roles, her work has been grounded in aligning clinical care, policy, and incentives around value—not volume—and around people—not transactions. She remains committed to building care models that are equitable, evidence-based, and designed to improve outcomes at scale.
