Dr Esme Cullen is Chief Health Equity Officer for National Medicaid and State Programs at Kaiser Permanente. Dr Cullen works in National Quality and is responsible for ensuring that all Kaiser Permanente members have access to the highest quality care. As a practicing internist, Dr Cullen’s leadership and research experience spans primary care, public health, and policy. Prior to this role she served as medical director for a large federally qualified health center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, Medical Degree from University of California San Francisco, Master's in Public Health from University of California Berkeley and graduated from the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. She is passionate about building a US healthcare system that truly meets everyone’s needs.
