David Fudman, MD trained in internal medicine at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian and completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Beth Israel Deaconess/Harvard Medical School. He directs the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinic at the University of Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, and serves as the quality officer for the Division of Digestive and Liver Disease. His research has centered on quality improvement and novel strategies when using advanced therapies to treat IBD. He leads the IBD workgroup of the American Gastroenterological Association’s Quality Committee and in 2025 was the second physician named to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation’s Qorus Wall of Fame for contributions to the multicenter quality improvement collaborative.
