Luke serves as Executive Director of Children’s Mercy Integrated Care Solutions (CMICS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Children’s Mercy Kansas City and a national leader in pediatric value-based care. CMICS manages value-based contracts covering approximately 240,000 children across the Kansas City metropolitan area, including full capitation risk for 135,000 Medicaid members and delegated services on behalf of four Managed Care Organizations. CMICS also supports approximately 105,000 patients through commercial value-based agreements and partners with nearly 40 community-based practices, more than 400 primary care providers, and over 750 Children’s Mercy specialists. Guided by its mission to improve the health and well-being of children, CMICS delivers high-value, integrated, whole-person care through strong collaboration between community providers and the health system. Luke has been with Children’s Mercy since 2014 and brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience spanning operations, strategy, and information technology.
