Deirdra Stockmann, Ph.D., M.U.P. is the Director of the Division of Quality and Health Outcomes in the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Since joining CMS in 2012, Deirdra has worked with state Medicaid and CHIP agencies and their partners to improve health outcomes by improving access to and quality of health services for people enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP. Before joining CMS, Deirdra worked on multi-stakeholder collaborations to address social drivers of health and other aspects of community wellbeing. Deirdra holds a Ph.D. and Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors from the University of Pennsylvania.
