NCQA’s 2030 roadmap is the industry’s shared horizon. During this session, we will reflect on our journey so far, including significant wins in data liquidity and portability of quality logic as well as areas where reality has impeded how fast the industry can pivot and the path has not been as straightforward as first envisioned. Despite the technological shift, the core requirements for clinical and high-integrity data remain the bedrock of everything we do. As we look forward, the focus must shift to FHIR® and CQL standards and diverse data sources. Organizations should not just be "aware" of FHIR and CQL; they should be actively understanding how to integrate these standards into their core infrastructure and operations to create a seamless data flow. Panelists will also discuss opportunities with AI, including new types of measures, incentive alignment, and multi-context data and content usage. We will also share implementation and results from a real world example of combining logic-driven ingestion, reusable reasoning models, and cognitively enhanced views, enabling data to support multiple levels of measurement while preserving semantic integrity.
